​Guidelines for donated items

  • All materials must be clean and odor-free. No mold or mildew.

  • Fabric must be folded flat.

  • We prefer materials to be in clear plastic bags (trash-size is fine) or plastic bins.

  • Donations may be dropped off at SewGreen during specified donation days and hours.

  • Please check by phone before bringing large donations.

  • We accept donations by mail.

  • We reserve the right to accept only what we need.

  • We can accept donations of any items of value that can be resold to support SewGreen’s mission.

Every donation keeps these items out of landfills and is tax-deductible.

 

Donated materials (1/2 yard or larger) are used in our sewing, knitting, crochet and other classes, resold in our store to support learning programs for people of all ages, or used for charitable sewing projects.

 

We can only accept items that can be reused and our space is limited. At this time, we only accept portable machines and cannot accept more cabinets.
